Upon the entry into force of the new Civil Code, the civil law will take a criminal approach; accordingly, it follows an approach which focuses on causing injury instead of the extent of the resulted pecuniary damages – pointed out the expert of bpv Jádi Németh Attorneys at Law to Origo.

In the two-parted article, Dr. Zoltán Somos also emphasised that – from now on -  the perpetrators of a certain crime could also be companies exclusively and the occasionally giant pecuniary penalty might have a dissuasive effect.
