Teenagers in the digital space

Adolescents share a lot of information on the social media, however, surprisingly, only a few teenagers live an online life publically without restraint. Most of them, in fact, actively restrict and shape their profile. According to an American research of 2013, the profiles of 60 percent of teenagers are not public, which is a much higher rate than in the case of adults. Moreover, many adolescents set different „levels of security” even among their friends.
