Dr. Iván Völgyes Award Presented to Dr. Andrea Jádi Németh

On December 5, at the Annual General Assembly of AmCham Hungary, the Board honored our founding partner, Andrea Jádi Németh with the prestigious Dr. Iván Völgyes Award.

This award, established in 2005, recognizes individuals who have significantly contributed to strengthening of the Hungarian – American relations and fostering business partnerships. The Board of AmCham recognized Andrea’s exceptional achievements in promoting international collaboration and her dedication to advancing ties between Hungary and the United States.

We proudly share that Andrea has played a vital role in AmCham Hungary, serving as Chairperson of the Supervisory Board for six years and previously as Board Member and Second Vice President (2009–2018). She also led the Membership Committee for four years, contributing to a wide range of AmCham initiatives. Also, for 3 consecutive years she acted as Jury Chair of AmCham’s Women of Excellence Award.

Named after Dr. Iván Völgyes, a pioneer in modern lobbying and U.S.-Hungarian business relations, the award reflects a legacy of impactful leadership and collaboration.
