As national legal experts mandated by the European Commission, we had the privilege to contribute to the alignment of Hungary’s legal framework with the European Union’s climate and energy objectives. Our work supported the development of a more robust and predictable environment for renewable energy investment, implementation, and regulatory compliance — paving the way for Hungary’s active role in the green transition. The transposition of Directive (EU) 2018/2001 (RED II) in Hungary project not only reinforced the legal underpinnings of Hungary’s sustainable energy strategy, but also contributed to the broader goal of securing Europe’s long-term energy resilience.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Grimaldi Alliance for their excellent coordination and the opportunity to collaborate on this strategically important initiative under the European Commission Framework Contract.
